Regional Sales Manager - Greater NYC or Boston Area

Our client is a pioneering and well-funded cyber security start-up with innovative and smart solutions for leading financial, technology and services enterprises worldwide. They are looking for a Regional Sales Account Manager. As a Regional Sales Manager you will be helping customers fundamentally change the way they protect and manage their endpoints. You will act as an information security and IT-solutions trusted Adviser while focusing on generating new business revenues, as well as help, protect and grow market share/revenues through the identification and development of new business opportunities involving enterprise business clients.

Location: Northeast corridor (preference to New York City or Boston)

Responsibilities:

• Prospect for potential customers using various direct methods such as calling and face to face meetings, and indirect methods such as networking/channels

• Identify leads, manage prospects and acquire new business

• Cultivate effective long-term relationships with key decision makers

• Sell to all levels of management, particularly C-level executives

• Maintain a high degree of competitive product knowledge including evolving technology trends across the full range of products and services

• Develop and execute a personal territorial, account, and/or sales plan

Travel: Approximately 30% travel

Requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience as an Sales/Account Manager, Account Executive, or Outside Sales Representative

• Successful experience selling cyber-/endpoint security solutions to enterprise and public sector

• ‘Outside the box’ thinking

• Able to diagnose customer cyber security needs and propose appropriate solutions

• Technical selling experience and relationships with C-Level executives

• Team player with a strong start-up mentality
